Caregiver Companion Invites You - 29 February

Caregiver Companion is hosting its FIRST ever fundraiser that is focused on sharing what we do with the community. This Friend-raiser is a chance for you, and your friends, to learn more about the care that is given to the elderly in our community. Bring a friend on Thursday, February 29th, at 6 pm in the Memorial Center, across from St. Ann’s Church on Wabash. Enjoy a nice dinner, hear our neighbors share their thanks, and have a joyful opportunity to lend support.

Please contact us with any questions at 765-423-1879.

YHWH: I Am who I Am 28 February, 7-9pm

A group of students from various Purdue campus ministries are putting on a night of submission, worship, and prayer. The name of the night is "YHWH: I Am who I Am" after the same God we all worship thanks to the same Gospel which has saved us. The goal of the night is to bring the Church at Purdue together to worship God with all we have for who He is and what He's done, simply because He deserves it. There will be rhythms of prayer and worship as well as a Gospel presentation, so feel free to bring anyone the Lord lays on your heart!

Shepherd's Gate Inn: Rest ministries

Is your life full of busyness and noise? Is God calling you to be still? At REST Ministries, we have created a sacred space at our retreat facility Shepherd’s Gate Inn, for you to exhale from fast-paced living and breathe deep the breath of God. Our spiritual retreats are a time of strategic withdrawal, allowing God to replenish your parched soul.

Sabbatical: Lilly Grant

National and Indiana Clergy Renewal Programs provide an opportunity for pastors to step away briefly from the persistent obligations of daily parish life and engage in a period of renewal and reflection. Renewal periods are not vacations but times for intentional exploration and reflection, for drinking again from God’s life-giving waters, for regaining enthusiasm and creativity for ministry.

GLGA Interviews D.I.V.E

One of the questions that we got after the last GLGA meeting was about directly sharing the Gospel and if/how we could start to do that in our schools. Well, we found a group of churches in New Castle Indiana and now in Richmond that have done just that and their program is called D.I.V.E. at School. They have been asked to start programs in EVERY public school in the city and now are being asked to come into the county schools. D.I.V.E. stands for Discovering Important Values for Eternity… And it is a 5 year curriculum that a team from churches work together and go in right after school for 1 hour and share THE GOSPEL  for 18 weeks.

GLGA Survey

We know that there have been quite a few changes over the past few months at GLGA and there will most likely be more to come but we were wondering if you could give us some feedback so far.
